I use #6 shot because thats usually what i have around the house

| I usually use #6 its a little large for a limb rat but I use #6 for most everything. I also use a .22. |

I sometimes use #6 also because it's what is around. But I have found #4 kills better.

| # 6 is what we always used for just about everything. Around here all you can find at the store is 7 1/2 or 8 shot. Move quick if you want #6. |

Walmart doson't carry a lot of anything more that 8 or 71/2 where I live either. But I order some from basspro online sometimes.

 number six works good for me, but I would rather head shoot the with my 10-22. I dont like to bite into shot when I chew.
